Ingredients for 4 people

  • 1 pot of Toma'Amoris
  • 2 kg mussels
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Fresh herbs to taste (e.g. basil, parsley)
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

  • Rinse the mussels thoroughly under cold water and remove any beards.
  • Heat a dash of olive oil in a large pot. Add the chopped onion and garlic and fry until soft.
  • Pour the tomato sauce into the pan and stir well. Add the fresh herbs and season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the mussels to the sauce and cover the pan. Let the mussels cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are all opened.

TOMA'AMORIS

Toma’amoris is a rich base sauce, with a powerful flavour and smooth texture. It’s a highly concentrated sauce, so is less runny than many sauces. The secret? A large quantity of cherry tomatoes, straight from the greenhouses at Stoffels! Free from preservatives, added sugars, flavour enhancers and colourings.
