For 30 years, Stoffels has been known for growing top-quality, tasty tomatoes and now we are broadening our range by bringing a first derivative product on the market, a delicious base sauce which fits seamlessly with Stoffels’ ambition to passionately continue to work on a sustainable and innovative story in which also a close collaboration with our partners is essential.
WHAT IS IT THAT MAKES TOMA’AMORIS SO UNIQUE?
Toma’Amoris is a rich base sauce, powerful in flavour and deliciously creamy in texture. The sauce is very concentrated and therefore not as runny as many other sauces. Its secret? A huge quantity of cherry tomatoes, straight from the Stoffels greenhouses! This local tomato sauce is made from 100% Belgian tomatoes and is 100% natural. Free of preservatives, added sugars, flavour enhancers or dyes. Furthermore, gluten-free and vegan and with a nutriscore of A.
From tomato to sauce
The sauce is made by boiling down the tomatoes in a completely natural way, coarsely filtering and very lightly pasteurising the tomatoes. This preserves not only flavour but also the velvet texture is perfectly preserved. The tomato sauce is then finished, strictly controlled and bottled hot in a beautiful jar. On request, filling can also be done in 2 or 5 litre volumes!
Why sauce?
At Stoffels tomatoes, we are always looking for circular flows that fit into our sustainability story. In the cultivation of the tomatoes we also explore the possibilities of producing as little waste as possible and, where possible, convert waste streams into raw material. The production of a high-quality tomato sauce fits perfectly into this corporate philosophy. Not every fruit gets through the strict quality controls on tomatoes sold as fresh produce and during periods of overproduction, this is also an excellent solution. At that time, the tomatoes are at their absolute peak flavour!

Toma’Amoris is a very tasteful, pure sauce, lightly seasoned allowing it to be used for a wide variety of dishes. An ideal base for pastas, sauces and soups, but even a master chef would love to work with it. It is a product that truly can be used by anyone in 1001 different ways!
